STEVEN MARC LINN – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Steven (Steve) Marc Linn is the Chief Executive Officer of OPSdesign Consulting, leading the firm’s vision, strategy, and continued growth. Prior to becoming CEO, Steve served as the firm’s Executive Vice President – Supply Chain Operations for eight years, where he played a pivotal role in advancing OPSdesign’s consulting practice, expanding client services, and shaping the company’s reputation as a leader in independent supply chain consulting.

A United States Military Academy graduate at West Point and a former U.S. Army Commissioned Officer, Steve brings more than 30 years of distinguished leadership in supply chain operations across retail, e-commerce, B2B, and omni-channel organizations. His track record of success spans growth acceleration, turnarounds, and large-scale transformation initiatives, consistently delivering measurable results.

Before joining OPSdesign, Steve held senior executive and operational roles for over 25 years, where he directed results-driven systems and strategies at companies of every size and stage — from start-up brands to large publicly traded enterprises. His leadership experience includes Operations, Logistics, Distribution, Warehouse Management, Facilities, Supply Chain Strategy, and Customer Experience. Steve has been instrumental in designing and executing both long-term strategies and tactical solutions that balance operational precision with business growth.

Steve has been a transformative leader for globally recognized brands such as Tiffany & Company, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Alex and Ani, where he served as Vice President of Operations. With a reputation for hands-on leadership and strategic foresight, he has successfully overseen global supply chain networks, customer experience platforms, retail operations, and large-scale facilities. He has led numerous distribution center startups, directed WMS and MHE evaluations and implementations, and previously partnered with OPSdesign as a repeat client before joining the firm’s leadership team.

An active thought leader in the industry, Steve has spoken nationally at events such as the Warehousing Education & Research Council (WERC) annual conference, Retail Delivery Connect, and the Operations Forum. He has served as a board member of the Material Handling Society of NJ and the West Point Society of New York and contributed as a committee member for the WERC Conference in Columbus, OH.

Steve is also passionate about inclusion in the workforce. In 2015, he pioneered the first program in Rhode Island to integrate talented individuals with disabilities into supply chain operations — a model that has influenced similar initiatives across the industry.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from West Point and his MBA from Pace University in New York. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Steve brings the discipline, resilience, and leadership instilled at West Point and the military into every aspect of his professional career.

Beyond his executive role, Steve is an avid marathon runner, often competing to raise funds and awareness for charitable causes nationwide.
