Steven Linn – Executive Vice President Supply Chain Operations

Steven (Steve) Marc Linn is Executive Vice President—Supply Chain Operations at OPSdesign Consulting. Steve, a West Point Graduate and former Commissioned Officer, United States Army brings over thirty-years of supply chain operations leadership experience in renowned retail, E-commerce, B2B, and omni-channel organizations. His demonstrable success in growth, turn-around, and change-management leadership roles has contributed to the advancement of our Interim Leadership, Key Staffing Augmentation, and Project Management practice area as well as directing Client Services.

Prior to joining OPSdesign, Linn spent 25+ years in executive, operational and logistics roles, implementing results-driven systems across a broad variety of companies varying in size and corporate life stages.

Linn’s experience ranges from Operations, Logistics, Distribution, Warehouse Management, Facilities, Supply Chain Management and Customer Experience. As a critical player in the planning and execution of long-term and short-term strategic plans, he has helped companies reach their goals with a balanced mix of strategy development, tactical skill, and project management capabilities.

Linn has been an asset to the growth of start-up brands who were still in the infant stages as well as large publicly traded companies including Tiffany & Company, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Alex and Ani, where he served as Vice President of Operations.

With a tactical team behind him, Linn has led Global Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Retail Operations and Facilities organizations. Linn has successfully managed numerous Distribution Center start-ups, Warehouse Management System and Material Handling Equipment selection and integration projects and was a repeat client of OPSdesign Consulting prior to joining the firm to head up consulting services.

Linn has spoken nationally at the Warehousing Education & Research Council’s (WERC) annual conference on numerous occasions as well as Retail Delivery Connect and the Operations Forum. He is a past board member of the Material Handling Society of NJ and the West Point Society of New York and also sat on the conference committee for the WERC Conference in Columbus, OH. Linn has a passion for integrating talented people with disabilities in the workforce and has been a trailblazer in implementing the first program of its kind in Rhode Island in 2015.

Linn is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Economics. He also received his MBA from Pace University in New York and is a proud Veteran of the United States Army. Steve is an avid runner, and regularly runs marathons for charities across the US.
